Redid my straps and moved them to the back of the arm so they weren't getting hit by the tie rod, used a double shear seatbelt type mount on the arm, will probably need an 8" over the current 9", but it will work for now.

Measure twice cut once! The 9" were perfect when I had them up front, but rear mounting needed a bit shorter.

Hey James I as wondering how your Dorman Wheel studs are holding up. I'm about to take the leap and get some. I know you put them threw some use. Thanks.

Good! I swapped my hubs out with a set from @nj636 last year, and I believe he used the same ones in those, both held up very well.

Awesome thanks. I've been looking around for a week now and the cheapest I found was on RockAuto for 1.56 a stud. Napa wanted 3.49 a stud. I'm just hoping shipping doesn't kill me. Thanks

Thanks guys! I still need to put together a report for the last big trip of the summer I did, will work on that tomorrow, got some great pics.

Did some actual work on the truck the past month, got a new used set of spindles and a set of the sway version TC gussets put together and thrown on, and finally got over 2 deg of caster, but Firestone fucked my tabs up again so couldn't get any more. I ordered a set of the tab gussets at the same time as the spindles, but will probably wait until spring to burn them in when I pull the lowers for spring cleaning, and maybe do heimed uppers with solid mount lowers at the same time.

Made great use of the grill this summer too, really stoked to have it, never moved a bit. Almost lost it on the last trip though, drove off without in one morning, but it was there two days later when we came back through the area.

It is, but none of it is really that difficult, just a longish list LOL. Over the past two winters, one I learned to weld, built two bumpers and installed all new front and rear suspension, and last winter I tore my engine down to replace the HG, replaced the LCAs and did a bunch of other welding and miscellaneous repairs.

So, this list actually doesn't seem that bad to me. And, none of it absolutely has to get done, so if I don't make it through the whole list, NBD. But, I do plan on hitting the garage hard in the coming months :sawzall::welder::sawzall::welder:

Also, I don't know how you haven't already ripped them apart, my stockers were nowhere close to being able to handle the MT kit, get on that!

OK, I gotcha. If you have done brake lines before, make sure you have a flare wrench, and another vehicle handy yo run to the parts store. The nuts on the hard lines sheared in half, so I had to cut the hard lines, put on new nuts, then flare the hard line, major PITA with brake fluid dripping everywhere all the while. Hopefully yours go smoothly.
