It has been a little while since I've been on here but I found my way back and I wanted to share my feedback on the new V2 pro grille that I recently installed on my Tacoma.

I have had my Tacoma for 3 years now and I stayed away from the overdone "Pro" grille for a while. I've always loved the design, I just didn't like how popular it was and how many Tacomas out there had one.

I recently came across the updated V2 design of the Pro grille and I was offered to try it out from YotaVerse. I choose to go for the basic level of grille they offer. The grille I got has no lights, just the grille and the sensor for the TSS since I have a 2021. During the install I recorded a video so I can share with others how easy you can install the grille not including the wiring for the optional DRL or raptor lights.

Honestly I love how the grille looks, the unfortunate part for me is that its not working well with the bumper I have. Im running the CBI baja plate bumper with a short bull bar. Although it doesnt look like it would be an issue, the bullbar and the TSS sensor are interfering with eachother and my warning light comes on and goes away each time I drive my truck. If it was not for this issue I would be keeping the grille on the truck.

Here is the install video I created if you are interested to see how simple the install of this grille really is.

the v2 grille is really growing on me. love the way it looks plus it keeps it different from all the PRO grilles i see everyone have. shame that it interferes with your sensor. I wonder if there is a way to relocate the sensor but i dont see anywhere it would go without the bullbar being in the way.

I really appreciate that, I've put a lot of work into this truck in the past few years!

Same here, the more I saw it the more it grew on me. The design of the grille would make it hard to relocate the sensor without making any major modifications which would probably not work out very well.

I bet. Any other major plans or is this how it'll sit for a while?

It's been a nonstop build for the past 3 years and I still have more to do. As of right now, I need a rear bumper, rear shackle hangers, a bed rack, and a roof top tent. Those are the many upcoming things but I'm sure there are more

I really like this grill also, but think I'd have issues with mt current bumper/light bar setup.
