I figured that snapper had to be close to a 100yrs old. My buddy has one as a pet he built a 200 gal pond in his back yard for it. It was his father's, his father got it when he was a kid this thing got to be 50+ pounds. They will out live us I know that forsure.

He lives by the shore so he uses a casting net. So fish and pellets. He also has 2 alligator snapping turtles. A mata mata turtle, long neck turtle. Let's just say the dude loves some turtles. I on the other like snakes so I have a couple different types.

If we had a picture of the right side and what appears to be a light we might have more clues.

I'm not 100% sure that even is a vehicle body.
If so, the wood attached and the fairly vertical style suggests something from the 1920's. :notsure:

    Haha! Finally stumped Rusty!
I think it’s a car. Not much left. But yes there was a bit of wood attached to that piece and I was thinking that that bell shaped things were probably the housing/base for the lights.
Found it in an old ghost town. Started in the 1860’s and most of the stuff in town is from that time to maybe the 20’s. There’s an old international truck from the 20’s there too.

No, haha but that’s why i posted it. I did a bunch of research because I thought it was the lesser metatarsals of a human foot but I’m pretty positive its mountain lion

I can't wait to take my kids up there when they get old enough(if I can stay in shape long enough!) Pretty popular spot just up the hill from Seattle. The sunset shot was a little pond called Truck and the other is Robin lake facing the trail up to the Alpine Lakes that are the namesake of this particular wilderness area. I'm saving Colorado for chasing elk someday....

I have material from higher up but they don't count as "cool in the woods"!
