You gotta wonder just how they chew through that hard shit plastic & why. I’m grateful for when the hawks & owls return. Thins ‘em out considerably.

I’ve only been to Texas once and it was Houston for a week. Sitka Alaska was a possibility and I’m glad we got Texas of Sitka lol. Not that Sitka wouldn’t be cool but I’ve got a newborn and moving to Sitka with a 10 week old would not be cool

My dad did 2 tours in Sitka so I have lived there for a total of 6 years. Amazing place but would be a little rough with a 10 week old.

I think when he’s older and later in my career we’ll do a tour there. My wife is a PNW gal, daughter of a crabber. She’d be right at home up there.

Getting a personalized plate once this build is drivable again. I know how to apply for one, but do any of y'all know how to check for pate availability ahead of time? All the other states I've lived in over the years, you just typed what you wanted into the DMV site and it told you immediately if it was taken or not. Can't find anything like that for SC. Happy to go into the DMV if that's the only way....

From my FJ, you full out a form with the top 3 choices and cross your fingers.

Yep, got that form. What a shitty system. Might drop by the DMV on an off hour and see if they can look up availability before tossing a form and a check in the mail.
