Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
If it will make you feel better, I have to go into town later this morning to pick some stuff up and will take my bike because it's small enough to fit in the bags.

:pccoffee: Good Morning Porch Pals & Sue! Well that forecast yesterday was definitely not the "OR Not" version. Couple cells spooled up in the Hill Country, headed SE, kept getting bigger, spawned a few Tornado warnings - including us - and hail bigger than a grapefruit. We got lucky, and the radar warned storm in the pic went SE from San Marcos, down highway 80. Haven't heard yet of any airport damage - seems just SE. We were lucky with a 1/3" of big drops, minor hail and winds. Lucky is good.

    Nice day to mow, though!

    Afternoon all:

    Grapefruit size hail Kurt!

Was looking at front pages of two local papers this morning, one had a picture of a B-29 that flew into the local airport for display, the other had a picture of what looked like a steam locomotive that was in a town not too far away, both were gorgeous! Apparently the B-29 flew over our town on approach to the airport, a lady who works at the convenience store said that some people said they got pictures of it, would have been neat to see!

It was cold yesterday in DC. 45 out this morning.

Now they look tasty. Do you ever experiment with turkey breast? I like to inject them with unsalted butter, maple syrup and chipotle seasoning. I have put then in a basket weave of bacon but it is not my favorite way to smoke them. I also tale the thin end and tuck it under to make the breast a uniform thickness.

Good morning. Headed over to the beach at 7am today. Not much planned but a Mother's Day brunch tomorrow.

:pccoffee: Good Morning Porch Pals & Sue! Have the son coming over for early Mothers Day - duel grilling some lobster tails and small filets. We'll go for a Mimosa brunch tomorrow. Alternating days of rain threats for now. At least the humidity came down!

Hey - San Marcos Tornado update - it wasn't; just big winds and some straight lines. Lots of miscellaneous damage; mostly big hail from Wimberly to there. Nothing bothered out at the airport hangar, in fact "That's All.... Brother" headed out for Atlanta in the morning.

Went to the hangar for a wing meeting, absolutely no sign of weather there. Several members had some hail stories though, and several branches and trees down on Hwy 80 on the way home. Yellow Rose gets center stage with TAB gone.

This little piece of excitement belongs to a couple pilots. It's looking for a new hangar.

There was really only one decision, he’s been by my side for 13 years and I will be by his as long as he’s not in pain. I worry about what I’m doing for me vs what I’m doing for him but we’re learning to navigate the house and use the edges of the sidewalk as a guide on our walks. As long as I get a tail wag from him and he still gets excited for meals and encounters with the neighbors, then we’ll stay the course.

Our lives are returning to normal, today I waxed the dining room chairs and table and cleaned and polished the kitchen counters. I think my arms are going to fall off.

Just lost all our furniture in the bedroom.
Going to sleep on an air mattress for a month while I paint the ceiling and walls.
Pull carpet and screw down the floor to stop the squeaky squeaky..
Nails have come through the carpet so I pulled them so I know how long of screws I need. Lol.
Put a new floor down and then a new bedroom set.
