Turkey hunting and BS welcome!

Yea man ,I’m seeing turkeys all over . Bunch of jakes behind the house ; 5 long beards across the road . Everywhere I drive I see turkeys . I always wanted to get a nice camera and shoot em ! Go out just like your hunting but use a camera.

 

One roosted right now across the road and gobbling good. Headed to Abbeville in the morning for one last hunt with a friend. Tomorrow is the last day of the season. I will definitely attempt to get video of that bird here at home Saturday morn. Have done so before in years past.

Finished my season today with turkey number 3. Gonna try and get both my boys out but one is always working and the other is busy with school so not sure if I will get another day in the field this year.

He circled me twice at about 60 yards and just below the ridge so the third time I moved back 40 and dumped him. These mountain birds can be cagey.

And was the last day here. Struck out this morn with a friend. First hunt where I didn’t hear a gobble to my calls this season.

 

Fair enough I'm sure there are a ton of a loading walk thru videos. Just make sure your drill press that you use for the roll crimp doesn't go over 300 rpm or you will get a bad crimp the rest is pretty basic.
