    In interviews the past couple of years, he has made a point of saying he is slowly stepping back and more mentoring than designing. He made that very apparent with comments on the RB19.

    I think it depends on what Merc's plan is for 2025. They've had the same excuses about the car for the past 3 seasons, if they know they're not in contention until the new regs they could put Antonelli in for 2025 and hope he's as good as everyone says. I would love to see Sainz continue with a good team, I think he deserves it.
