@CouchlessPotato what kind of weatherstripping did you use to fill in the gap? Also your truck looks like a legit trophy truck

I'd wager that legit Tundra mirrors are better than the ones you linked. Check out the reviews on Amazon:

    https://www.amazon.com/DNA-MOTORING-TWM-070-T888-BK-AM-Powered-Heated/dp/B07Q47QSF6#customerReviews

Nothing but 1-star ratings. Every reviewer says they don't even fit the truck.

Basics. Tires, painted headlighes, UHLM, baby winch in the bed, and heated mirrors :)
I wonder if you could use black RTV to fill in the gap between the mount and door frame. It'll take a ton of goop, but if you fill it in and use a gloved finger soaked in isopropyl to smooth out the edges and and form it into a kind of bezel, it may help make it look more form-fitted at least. Better than looking like you just tacked non-fitting mirrors on anyway. And should peel off easy enough once it's try, if you don't like it

The truck in my avatar isn't mine, unfortunately. It's a Hilux fitted with Clearview towing mirrors. I emailed Clearview a few years back, asking if they ever plan on making mirrors for the Tacoma. They said no.
