PowerFolding mirrors?

New to Toyota Tacoma, can anyone comfirm if the 2024 upper trims will have power folding mirrors? Does the current Gen have them?

 

I haven’t seen any buttons for in on any Interior videos or pics

 

Limited might get them. They aren't that popular on US spec midsize trucks. I know Ford offers both standard and tow power fold mirrors on full size trucks.

I'd rather see Toyota offer a tow mirror option for the Tacoma. Maybe something the size of the standard Tundra mirrors could be redesigned to accommodate tow mirror glass.

You can opt for fullsize tow mirrors on GM 1500 short bed regular cabs. Toyota should offer something on the Tacoma.

 

Current gen does not have them. I’d be surprised to see them on the 4th gen.

 

Ranger Raptor will have it.

 

BUT on the other hand, if you are into moonroofs....

 

Moonroof that is an automatic hell no with me I just don't like them. Something I would never use and will eventually leak. I have a "sunroof "on 1 of my tractors hate it

I agree. I wish they had tow mirrors as an option on the 2nd generation Tacoma or at least available to order after purchase. If they did, I would purchase them and install them myself even if it required giving up the power adjustment. Even if they weren't part of optional the tow package, I ordered them on the previous trucks I had. The ones on the Ford's were were bigger and swung out for towing. The ones on the Chevy's resembled full-sized truck (i.e. tractor) mirrors and pivoted out as well and they came standard with the Camper Special package.

 

Not sure but they folding doors. However, not power. Yet.

 

Power folding side mirrors would be great for folks with small garages. I'd pay extra if its an option.

But just found out (or read the following) That 2024 Tacoma notably, blind-spot and rear cross-traffic warnings are not part of TSS 3.0 but are widely available options. Now that's a major bummer if blind-spot warning is not standard safety feature on all 2024 trims. I mean other new cars/trucks seem to offer blind spot warning as a standard item. Tacoma really counting pennies if you have to pay extra for blind spot waring.

 

I'd really like to see some slippers on the gas and brake pedals that squeeze and massage your feet while driving.

Well there’s your problem, trying to shoehorn a sunroof where the moonroof goes…

Nope, no power folding mirrors. Big disappointment
