Found a great deal on used raceline 17x9.5 wheels, can I run my 265x65x17 cooper AT3s on this wheel?

    pics or it didn't happen

pretty sure stock 265 65 17 goes on like a 7.5 wide wheel so putting that tire on a 9.5 sounds like kind of a stretch

pretty sure there's folks running sizes around 35x12 on 9 wide
which is part of why to get something like that, both are related

    according to willtheyfit calculator
    the tire might fit
which if so makes sense. There's sedans running 19x9 255 which is even narrower

    or, if you already have 265 65 17 on a 17 wheel
    that is free.

According to Tire Rack a 265/65R17 fits a 7.5 to 9.5 width wheel.

Call the tire shop you plan to go to and ask. Some shops I worked at only had a bead blaster where as others had bead blasters, inflation rings and, murphy's. The tire shop you plan to go to will be the ones to ask.

A "custom" shop will be more capable than a tire shop which is more capable than a dealership in this department.

The bigger question is if the wheel has the right offset to fit properly

I kept getting conflicting info on searches so thought I would see if anyone had done this.

    This is the important part.
I have 8.5” wheels w the same tire and 0 offset. I can’t run my mud guards anymore due to rubbing. I’d imagine same offset at another inch I’d be rubbing the wheel well.

I would not. 8.5" would be about as wide as I would go only if the wheels I had to have only came in that width. 7.5-8" would be a much better choice.

Sidewall aspect ratio plays a role in what is acceptable as well as section width.
