Same. We have had at least one dog for the last 30 years. We have 3 now, although Methuselah may be nearing the crossing. Or not, who knows, this guy is ancient. I've cried losing every single one, but you know they are only here for a short time. I can't imagine not having a dog in my life. But I understand that some people need time before moving on to the next best friend.

    Sorry for the losses.

That's a horrible idea. What time?
I was at WalMart buying a bag of Purina dog chow for my dog , in the check-out line when a woman behind me asked if I had a dog. Why else would I be buying dog chow, RIGHT ??? So on impulse I told her that no, I didn't have a dog, I was starting the Purina Diet again, and that I probably shouldn't, because I ended up... in the hospital last time, but that I'd lost 50 pounds before I awakened in in......tensive care, with tubes coming out of most of my orifices and IVs in both arms. I told her that it was essentially a Perfect Diet and all you do is load your pockets with Purina Nuggets and simply eat one or two every time you feel hungry. The food is nutritionally complete so it works well and I was going to try it again. (I have to mention here that practically everyone in line was now enthralled with my story.) Horrified, she asked if I ended up in intensive care, because the dog food poisoned me. I told her no, I stepped off a curb to sniff a poodle's butt and a car hit me. I thought the guy behind her was going to have a heart attack he was laughing so hard. Better watch what you ask me and be prepared for my answer. I have all the time in the world to think of crazy things to say. Now that you've read it I have to confess I stole this . Perhaps you may steal it to put a smile on someones face.

It was Walmart. People eating purina wouldn’t be out of the question there. I wouldn’t eat it myself or feed it to my dog. Did you know Diamond isn’t much more than purina, but it doesn’t have all the filler that purina does. That means you don’t have to feed your pup as much at each meal. That makes Diamond cheaper in the long run even if it’s a little more per pound at the initial purchase. Dogs don’t digest the fillers, so it goes right through their system resulting in extra dog shit to clean up. I don’t know about you, but I prefer to pay less money a year and pick up as little dog shit as possible. :hattip:

Good thing they did away with "Cycle" dog food - pretty sure that was the name of it. Back when we were poor newlyweds that's all we could afford. Puppies would eat one cup of food and poop out about 6 cups :annoyed: and STINKY. I'll take what they are on now.
