So I just purchased the new Toytec Boss Aluma 2.0 coilovers. I have a 2016 TRD OR DCSB. I am wanting to know what height these things come preset at. The instructions say you have to have a coil compressor to raise the height. I was under the impression I could use the tool and adjust them without having to take them off the truck. I am hoping they came preset with enough lift so I don't have to mess with them. Any help is greatly appreciated. I'm new to the adjustable world. TIA!

    Their site say's the are preset 2.5 to 3.0" of lift. But that's for 05 - 15 (2' 3" lift). 1" to 2" on 16 + Tacoma's.

Also 2pc upper collar, so yes spring compressor is needed to adjust.

Just curious if anyone on here has installed them with the preset height on a 3rd gen and how much lift they actually got. Pics would be great! I just don't want to have to take them back off. I just spoke with ToyTec and they said 2".

I just installed these last weekend. I did record before and after height measurements but don't have them with me at work. Mine had plenty of lift for no rubbing with the 285/70-17 K02's I put on.

Perfect! Thanks, this is exactly what I was looking for. Did you do the AAL in the rear?
