Anyone have a leather armrest?

I noticed the Limited 3rd gen 4Runners have leather armrests and I was wondering if they're the same armrest?

 

by the window?

 

No, center console. Like this (pic is from a 3rd gen 4R.

 

oh ok, i have a 5 speed and my arm rarely rests there!
the other arm usually rests by the window, which in a 2nd gen that i drove is not a good spot for the elbow
that is another reason i like the 1st gen for comfort features!

 

I ordered one from Etsy. The only option was faux leather but I messaged them and they got back to me and told me they would do an all leather one. I’ll post pics once it’s on. I believe it was the same company that sent me my genuine leather boot for my manual stick shift/4WD in grey which is way better than the stock.

Definately post an update on this. Mine is cracked. If I can order a leather one like the T4R Limited, I'd do it in a heartbeat.

I lean on the console a lot so whatever the stock armrest has won't last long.

 

Yeah, I’m not a big fan of plastic. I look forward to getting it on. I just got the shipping info but I’m at work in Louisiana and live in NC. I’ll have my neighbor take pics when it arrives. For some reason I’m thing it’s not the whole console cover but only the leather piece and you rather have to install it yourself or have an upholstery shop do it.

 

I own a Limited 2001 and literally the only leather in the whole interior is the "leather wrapped" steering wheel. My armrest/console hatch is definitely plastic.

 

I scored a leather steering wheel on here from the 1st gen buy/sell/trade section. Guy said he was switching back to a plastic steering wheel.

my biggest find yet was my Limited Tacoma seats. Three years later and I still love those things!
