I know it's a huge gimmick, but anyone try the new PGA Elijah Craig Valhalla Edition? I just saw some released locally

 

I'm damn near certain it's the same juice as the shelfer EC.
I had some of the Ryder Cup and wasn't a fan

Todays finds. Tonight’s comparo. I like Balcones, it’s certainly “Texas forward”. But ya know for the $45 it’s certainly worth it

I'm a fan of the toasted and can say I liked the Ryder a little bit better. Could surprisingly tell the difference.

This new one has barrels from warehouses P, 1G, and A. Which means absolutely nothing and will likely taste the same considering it's only a couple bux more expensive than a regular small batch 750.

I picked one up because the stopper was cool so I'll give a taste before the Avalanche game tonight.

I’ve really enjoyed this TW special - Wolcott Rickhouse Reserve. It’s from Barton 1792, 120 proof and just a nice flavor to it. And always available. Anyone else ever try this? This is probably my 4th or 5th bottle and it’s consistently good. And even better while sitting on the patio on a friday night!!!!!

 

How do you like it? Never seen it before? What's it running?

 

I like it and for $40 here in NM - I’ll take it all day long! There’s also a regular bottle, a BiB and then this Rickhouse Reserve. I’ve had the BiB but I like this higher proof.
