The passenger side mirror was an option on many trim levels. This was not uncommon on GMs back then. Lots of guys add the PS mirror when restoring, even if it wasn't there from the factory.

Lots of Firebird guys also add the Camaro deck spoiler like on this car, but that was never offered on Pontiacs. I'm not a fan of that.

Is that the same for the 67 - 68 Camaro? Window vents only on 67

My brother owned a ‘66 Mustang and a ‘69 Bronco at the same time for several years.

I saw this the other day and offered to trade my Tacoma for it. He laughed and thanked me for liking it.

1970 Buick GS 455 Convertible. You’d need 3 newer Tacomas to offset the cost.

I agree...the Camaro spoiler looks out of place on a Firebird.
My neighbor has a base model '77 Corvette, and it only has the one spindly little chrome mirror on the driver's side. Even the Corvette got that treatment...

Mine had the deck spoiler on it when I bought the car. It was the first thing I got rid of. The Camaro chin spoilers are a common add-on too. Again, not a fan.

    This is kind of funny...

We're on a thread where people post cars with engines climbing out of the hood, tires so wide that they almost come together underneath, and all kinds of other aberrations of mechanical tomfoolery... and a spoiler designed for the F body is out of place? LOL...

    Just struck me funny...

I've admired that car since I first saw you posting about it. We had a '68 coupe back in the mid-90s...it was originally Flambeau Burgundy on a Parchment interior, with a 350 2bbl/auto combo. By the time I got it, it was primer grey, and had a small block/TH350 combo in it. The plan was to put a Poncho back under the hood (and a 4-speed behind it), but before I got to it, someone made me an offer I couldn't refuse.

The neighbor on the other side has a silver on black '67 326 H.O. 'vert. Love the first gen Firebirds. You'll probably laugh, but I've always lusted after a 4-speed coupe with the Sprint six pkg. OHC cars are pretty rare up here in Canada.

LOL, I hear ya. Believe me, if it was tubbed, had side pipes, or a ghey 12" cowl induction hood, I wouldn't even notice the Camaro spoiler.

I saw her driving that thing around before we were together.
