I don't remember leaving a Chubbs in my garage next to the water filter.

Well today should be interesting.

We adopted/rescued Baxter on 1/8/24.

He's been great! Today we're supposed to have thunderstorms. We'll see how he reacts to them.

The storms weren't too bad here. The thunder was off in the distance.

So we'll just have to wait and see.

 

We got a Thundershirt for Tessa. She slept through the various neighborhood fireworks displays. We got after a heavy thunderstorm scared her as a pup. We don't seem to need it now.

 

A lot of times, turning up the volume helps too. Even going out in a fenced area on leash might be enough. Riley was always looking for the sound during fireworks and the occasional T-storm. Inside, he'd be pacing. Outside, he'd just go about his business regardless of the bangs. As he got older tho, he was less happy about loud noise--understandable.

 

My Duke would look at me after hearing a loud sound as if he’s looking to see how I react to the sound. I was always ok with the fireworks, thunder or other noises, so he was too. He didn’t like when I started up my motorcycle. He wouldn’t take off, but just keep his distance.

This is my 90lbs Cane Corso mix in her new dog bed. Basically took it over, wasn't supposed to be her's. Makes her look so small

 

Chloe is anxious to see my wife who just pulled into the garage.
