    Maybe you didn't hear me
    I said Iridium

And by the way. ALL plugs are COPPER cored

The exposed tips are either NICKEL, PLATINUM OR IRIDIUM

there is no exposed copper on any sparkplug. That wouldn't work at all.

Probably user error as usual... Followed by rumor spreading. "These plugs don't work". No, you got the wrong plugs, you idiot.

Yes it did. When were you under the hood of my truck???

And the plugs you are referring to have nickel on the tip. So get your story straight.

I did "hear" you and you are wrong. Your truck did not come with iridium with the factory...

You need to do some more research before you speak.

Your truck came with basic coppers just like every other 05-15 tacoma 4.0 lol.

I'll say it again, when were you under the hood of my truck and when did you talk to the dealership i bought it from about the different plugs on each side? When did you look at the plugs that i removed?

    I'm waiting???

Oh, you didn't do any of that.

Clearly you weren't under the hood either

Sorry you are confused here.... Maybe google the difference of what they look like.

AGAIN. Your truck did not come with iridium plugs lol.

You can keep saying it all you want but you are wrong.

I ran Denso Iridium Long Life plugs purchased from Rock Auto in my 2nd gen V6 for years with no issues.

I ran Denso Iridium TT plugs purchased from Amazon Marketplace in my Subaru (OE is NGK platinum). They ran fine initially but got misfires after just 16k. The center electrode has worn down to nothing, and there was carbon tracking in the wire boot in one boot. I suspect those were counterfeit.

As with oil filters, purchase from a reliable source to avoid counterfeits.

I actually got a fake set of Densor coppers from ebay. The packaging looked off. Ended up getting them at the dealer for less than $4 per plug.

The center electrode getting worn down is a classic sign of counterfeit.

It's because oil and spark plug changes are the only things most guys will ever do. There's a reason you don't see page after page of argument about measuring crankshaft bearing clearance

All it takes is a spark plug socket and oil drain pan and guy's be talking like they know more than toyota engineers

This answer here. My factory plugs went 120k without issue. I swapped in new Denso copper plugs and literally didn't notice a difference in engine performance nor gas mileage.

The Denso coppers will easily go 60k and you'll save a few bucks. That said, you do you buttercup
