All Terrian Tires Useful with Only 2WD ??

They called it Auto LSD, and it's pretty clear that it uses the braking system, not really false advertising.

Mechanical is not always better. It depends how much you like changing diff fluid with additives, and changing clutch packs, vs. easier maintenance, plus you get the benefit of traction control and stability control on the 09+ models.

And just where you started this thread, tires are still the most important thing.

 

I dont believe in traction or stability control. Go with mechanical any day. Would not have guessed they could come up with such a hermphadited LSD.
Thanks for the warning i will steer clear of that.

 

My '99 Prerunner went down a lot of dirt with only 2wd. You do have to pay attention and avoid certain situations.

 

This ^ I have a 2 wd and use it for hunting all over Nevada and never get stuck,running Falken Wildpeak AT 4 tires 255/80/17.
