I am running 2, 10 inch skar audio 400 watt, with a 1950 watt mono amp. It hits hard, already lost me rear view mirror and the rear sliding window like to fall out of place lol

The sub is driven by an Arc Audio XDi 850.5. I have found the response and range of this sub to be better (subjective) than the JL 10TW1-4 I was running (in the same box). The box is a Mr. Marv special in birch with poly-fil and Acry-Tech paint.

This was before I snugged up the harness with installbay clips to the box and put rear seat back in. Did everything myself. 8g premium flex power wire.

Box is from Amazon, Memphis 1100w amp. Memphis 10” subs.

Damn, these are some clean setups! Do those sundowns bump? They were my first option, but i went with skar audio because it was a little cheaper

Still a work in progress, but finally functional

SA10 inside. I extended the port all the way to the wall of the enclosure minus a few inches for lower tuning before assembling.

Way over the top, but kinda fun sometimes. And it actually sounds pretty good.

Just a fantastic subwoofer. Limited output on the low end though because of a hard bottom.

These are some clean looking setups. Just got everything screwed into place tonight, can't wait to wire up the amp and finally hear what this bitch can do

Hell yeah they do! SD3's want a sealed box, SA 10's want a ported box... I love my sundowns! At $200 a sub they are not bad.
I also have 2 brand new SA 10's, i tried to fit them in my box but the magnet was just a little too big. So now i plan to put them in a car once i pay off the truck and it becomes a full blown trail rig... and i can afford another car....

The only slim sub I know of that will touch the SDs are the Illusions that vietjdmboi is rocking and it's quite a bit more coin.

You're gonna dig the SAs. They don't handle transients as well as the SD, but they're still pretty nice.

Yeah i have been thinking of a way that i can run 2 %40 seats in the rear and build a custom center console that will hold subs between them. Try to fit another 10" sub in there somewhere...

Also been thinking about removing the rear crossbar and building a new box that will house the sa10s. Only problem with that is building a port in the box and still having enough air space...
