What was your recent purchase price for a used 3rd gen?

I paid 36k for a 2021 SR5 4x4 with 34k miles. CPO, trail edition, DCSB, army green paint.

Seems a bit high but there were a lot of trucks with accidents, that were rentals or were just beat up and I was willing to pay a bit more to avoid that.



Day I picked it up before the snowstorm I drove home in.

Two weeks ago. 2018 TRD Sport 4x4 DCSB MT 36k miles, $32,500.

 

Picked up my 3rd gen this past December at a local ford lot. Clean title no accident 2022 OR DCLB 4x4 with 13k miles. Transferred over the warranty as well, all for 38k after taxes and fees. Most trucks similar to mine were being posted for 42k-44k at other lots and private sale. I definitely lucked out on this one, pretty sure they just wanted it gone. This was my truck the day I got it, its a bit different now.

 

Truck buyers are just seeing the value in a 3rd gen because a similarly appointed 4th gen might be $10k-$15k more.

 

2020 Cement TRD Sport DCSB 4x2 w/ 60k miles. Sticker was 31k. Paid 35k after taxes and fees. This one had new tires, a bakflip tonneau, and predator steps so that all sealed the deal for me on top of it being a clean one owner local truck. Exact vehicle I wanted with the specs and with no need for 4x4. Pre-covid build too if that counts for anything.
