    I've got a 2002 3.4L/5vz Tacoma. I'm trying to track down a buildable core for a to-stock rebuild.

I seem to recall that earlier blocks had a drilled/tapped(??) dip stick tube that made doing an SAS easier.

But my quick search isn't showing much on whether I can grab a 97 long block to rebuild.

I want a core to rebuild so I can minimize down time on my truck.

When I was checking out rebuilt long blocks there was never any variants, just generic 5vz long blocks.

I believe it’s just all the accessories which can vary
