Is the Zurich extended warranty worth the purchase when buying a new Toyota from the dealership? Or is this just the financial side pushing more add ons?

Other than maybe the factory extended warranty on a new vehicle extended warranties are a scam IMO, your better off putting the money you would spend on one into a savings account where it can earn interest and then use it when you need to make a big repair.

Warranty companies are a pain for shops to deal with, in fact many shops just won't deal with them.

It's always hours on the phone only for them to deny coverage on alot of stuff, they want you to use the parts they tell you which is usually either some used crap or the cheapest parts store crap, and they always want to pay as little on labor as they can get away with.
