Yea might get them eventually. I use the 1.5L nalgene so more concerned with how far it can tip. Rn it’s like 20 degrees

also concerned about the plastic the AJT one uses. Wonder if it’s really the best material for that

    not enough.
Just installed this a few days ago. First thing I did when I received the package: open it and test it out with different bottles around the house and get giddy.
Installed it and in the process, almost poked my eye out. (i was pulling up on the trim and it gave way long before I thought it would which meant that all my strong twig-like muscles pulled the entire trim right into my eye. I'm good though). Looks OEM and it makes me happy. Love it!

Nice. Looking OEM was key for me. I’m very happy with it after a few thousand miles of cup/bottle holding adventures.

I'm testing mine out, too! It looks great - OEM fit and finish.
I'm trying the smaller containers and disposable cups (like McDonalds/Starbucks/etc) to see if the larger well of the Z cupholder will present any issues with tip-over, etc. So far, so good. Anyone have any real-world miles on their new cupholder that can comment on the smaller cups, containers, etc?

I got mine last week (relatively recent Taco owner). I still feel silly spending $60+ on a cup holder but it’s seriously the best money I have spent so far on the truck (well aside from the tailgate lock but I have blocked out that memory because I still can’t believe for the life of me that a 2022 truck wouldn’t come with an electric locking tailgate). The install was pretty easy (I was able to twist tings such that I could do it without removing the e-brake boot).

I love having my big 36oz insulated bottle and it’s been a major pain in every vehicle I have used it. This is the first cup holder that will actually fit it and it is absolutely a perfect fit. I love that the center piece still fits so it holds smaller bottles too. I just wish Toyota had made it this way to begin with.

To share my experience with you all. Z precision Cupholders are the real deal. They feel more OEM, are lighter, and have better fitment than other competing products like AJT Design

Edit: look at the gap passenger side where it goes vertical

Consider me a happy customer. You get what you pay for as they say. I paid for two of these things because I decided on the cheaper option first :anonymous:

Look at the gap passenger side. Was ugly with AJT. It looks way worse in person than on photos

Is that gap caused by the cup holder or misalignment/bent clips?

Mine looks nothing like that. You messed something up. I got the AJT one and it fits perfectly.

When I upgraded my stereo headunit, I installed the Maestro controller, and it allows for re-mapping of these buttons.

Lol you people are insane. The cup holder pushed it forward. Maybe the 21 is different maybe my truck is weird maybe the people who designed the Cupholder didn’t do proper analysis on tolerance stackups. As an engineer it’s probably the last one as these guys think fitting on one example means it works on all. If it works for you great but I’m just sharing what I ran into. Z précision is slightly smaller inner and outer diameter and worked better me. Idgaf what your truck looks like

Imo the Cupholder. Clips wouldn’t line up anymore since the Cupholder hit the plastic cross piece in the center console.

here this pic shows how the clips were now in the very front of the slots instead of the middle
    560A0B9E-32DA-4FDD-8C9D-1ABC73458117.jpg

Not here to argue with anyone but imo the Cupholder didn’t seem to fit on my specific truck. I tried 3 times swapped stock to AJT and back 3 times. First attempt with z precision and I’m done it’s installed. Moving on thought I’d share, curious if anyone else runs into the same issue or not
