Watching the tech put my wheels on. He put my truck on the lift and grabbed the front driver side wheel. Looks like I get to buy new hub/bearing assembly. I'll probably just go ahead and do both at once though.

Nice! I'm thinking I can trade my Taco off on the GX and then grab a 1st Gen to still have a pickup run around in. I'm betting the GX will pull our little camper better than the Tacoma.

It’s probab about the same. I’ve got a second gen and a gx. The tow rating is the same. I prefer to pull with my truck as it’s more comfortable for me. The rest of the family likes the 120 as it has all the bells and whistles for their entertainment on long trips.

Will look sick with the new center caps and lug nuts. Just need to finish getting off the plastiderp from the PO. Nothing a little WD40 won't take care of.

I would hope the extra torque would help some. Our trailer is only 3500 but with the 33s and all the extra weight on the Tacoma it struggles a little especially with the Wyoming wind.

I'm debating a snorkel. I like the utility of a snorkel with a prefilter. But I think it might look a little weird without a front bumper. What say you guys?

Also, I dropped the skid and sliders off at my buddy's house this afternoon. Install in the morning and adjusting my coilovers to level it out. Probably do the rear diff breather while there as well. I've only had the parts sitting around for 6 months.

I think a snorkel with look great. But think long and hard about the permanent aspects of installing a snorkel and if you ever decided to sell the GX.

I never thought I would sell my Tacoma. Hole saw to the fender, no problem. Tap three holes in the front pillar, no problem. Take my truck back to stock to sell, problem.

I'm sure I'll sell it one day. That being said, I don't think I'd take it all the way back to stock to sell it.

Yeah, From what I’ve seen a well built up GX will sell for more. Unfortunately with the Tacoma’s most buyers don’t no the difference between extended travel coilovers vs spacers lifts. Lol. That is why I just swapped my coilover overs for some 2” spacers this morning. I’m leaving the snorkel and roof rack, and the spacer lift will give it that nice look that the average Craigslist ‘Bro’ likes.

No sliders today. Hefty sent me the wrong shit. Going to try and get hold of them tomorrow and figure out how to correct it. No way to get what they sent me to work without heavy modification. Don't really wanna go that route though. I'll see what their idea for a solution is and go from there.

A friend of mine wheels the same truck. And I built some sliders for it and started building a back bumper. Makes me want to sell my 4Runners and buy one. Super comfy and a lot more power.

Any plans on making the rear bumper available for sale? I've been looking at what's available and it would be nice to have other options.

Added a co-pilot today. Her name is Addie. Best picture I could get because she won't settle the fuck down. I forgot what it's like to have a puppy.
