Youre Displaying The American Flag Wrong, Yes You!

While driving around this Memorial day weekend I saw a few trucks flying the american flag incorrectly. If you are displaying an american flag on a vehicle with another flag (i.e. state flag, POW, USMC) the american flag should be on the right side (passenger side) of the vehicle. Merica!

I had a teacher drill the importance of flag etiquette in jr high and it has stuck with me all these years later.

 

Yes, thank you OP. I see this a lot; The Flag being displayed incorrectly. I notice it in a lot of movies too.

Another common mistake is displaying American Flag decals incorrectly on vehicles. If it is displayed on a vehicle, the Union should be towards the front of the vehicle. Or, on the observer's left on the driver's side, and on the observer's right on the passenger's side.

ha, yes, that's mine.
Old Marine at local body shop was shocked to learn I was not military when he saw my flags done correctly.

 

Maybe all he's able to do is drive the truck in reverse, in that case he installed it correctly, no?
