2023 Tacoma Access Cab TRD Off-road

I've been waiting for my bumper to arrive and during that time doing some research on winches. The OVS SCAR 10s is what I was going to get and a few weeks ago they went for $500; now they're $550. For the same price, Amazon has the Smittybilt X20 10k Gen2.

Any opinions on one vs the other? The only significant differences I can see are the gear ratio is better on the Smitty, but the SCAR has a 2 year longer electrical warranty, otherwise it's pretty much the same specs with a different sticker so wondering if anyone has good, bad, or ugly experiences with either.

I'm trying to stay in the $500-$600 range so WARN is out and the Badlands APEX 12k is too big.
