I just ordered this grille for my '23 TRD Sport. I was just wondering if anyone has installed it or has any experience with this product? I have the front camera and got the bracket for that included along with the TSS garnish. I also ordered it with the DRL lights and raptor lights, but I'm sure I'm going to hook them up just yet...

Please let me know how the installation goes. I'm more interested in how the camera functions with the bracket they just released. Good luck, looking forward to updates.

I installed the grille the other day. Took about an hour or so. It was really easy. The grille fit great and I did not disconnect the TSS sensor, I just unscrewed it from the original grille and set it aside. The camera I did unplug and install in the new mount for it. All of it went together great and the camera still retained full functionality. I think the angle changed a little bit from the original so the blue lines on the camera are a little farther out than original, but it’s no problem. The camera mount was good quality and the camera feels secure. I’m very happy with the way it looked.
Now I just need new wheels and tires. I got 5100’s installed on the top notch a 1” block in the back so she’s looking like she skipped leg day

Check the post I just made. The grille was very nice. I can upload some close ups of the camera bracket and how it looks from the cab tomorrow if you like.

That grill looks good. Any gaps? How was the quality?

The quality was pretty good, but if I were making the grille, I would have ran a metal piece horizontally behind the grill right below the TOYOTA letters for added strength. It isn't as "Thick" as the OEM one, and if I push on it real hard in the middle, I can make it bend a little bit. Let's just say if I were to hit a bird at 50 mph the grill would be shot. I think its because the grille is more open than the OEM one and its got a more open design. I'm really happy with it overall. The fit is really good. Just snapped in, like the other aftermarket grilles. You can tell that they changed the colors of the garnish to blend in a little more from the first version. The Camera bracket is also really solid. That was my biggest concern, as requested by the guy that posted above you, I will upload some pictures of the bracket and a shot of camera from the inside so you can see how the view is. I'll also upload a picture of the grill and the gap between the grille and the panel that it mounts to.

Now i've just got to figure out if I want to look up the other lights on the sides of the grilles to the turn signals and or DRLS, and how to do that...

the mount is pretty sturdy. I think the camera has a very little angle difference from the original but the 360 and forward camera is good. I just don’t understand that one grey dead spot in the top middle of the forward facing camera.

Thanks for doing this review. I am highly inclined to buy this now. Waiting for a black friday sale and this is on my list. How was the install and wiring the raptor lights? I plan to buy it with the raptor light option but not the side lights.

Installing the raptor lights was simple. I watched several videos and what i did was use an add a fuse in the fuse box to connect the power wire and the ground for the main vehicle ground which was right there. I just routed the wires to the fuse box from the lights themselves. There are a few videos out there on the install and it showed me which fuse to tap in to and to add a 7.5. Now the raptor lights come on when i've got the headlights on, but not when using the daytime running lights.

I'll probably hook up those side lights to the DRL's eventually, but I'm not sure if i will. Apparently they can be hooked up to be white with the DRLs and then yellow with the turn signal. Im on the fence about using them.. might look a little bit "too much"

Seach youtube for install videos, there were two or three videos i watched to get the best idea of how I wanted to do it. I'll look for the videos and link them tomorrow if you want.

This was the best video I found:
    https://youtu.be/EkqOBdajssM

This was another one that I watched, but I'm a little apprehensive about tapping in to the wires leading to the headlights.

Check out my post here. Still troubleshooting the DRLs not working when low-beams are on but I have the grill lights working somewhat. Happy to answer any questions about how I wired mine. I was also scared of tapping the wires but I was surprised at how easy it was. Truly the hardest part was running and hiding the wires so they were not visible.

I wish ANY of these aftermarket gen 4 style pro grills didn’t come with raptor lights.

Nice! Even with the front camera mount it’s not too bad. I’m gonna have to pick one of these up soon. Thanks for the link.
