So I need to decide. Yokohama geolander ATS or Hankook dynapro ATM RF10
Both will be in 265/70/17 on Stealth 6 rims.

I drive in the city during the week hard packed logging roads on weekends. Winter gets slick in BC but thinking about grabbing a set of snow tires for that and throwing them on the stock rims. So basically need an all around good tire.

And dissapointed with the BF goodrich all terrains that came on the truck. Replacing them at 40,000km

For what's it worth - my wife has a 2013 Subaru Crosstrek with Yokohama Geolander tires. She has roughly 26,000 miles and the tires have not worn well. The tires are rotated evey 7500 miles. Her previous Subbie had Bridgestone tires which lasted well over 50,000 miles. When it comes time to replace the tires I will be looking at either Bridgestone or Michelin.

Kooks, they are an excellent AT, and work great I the snow/ice/slush as well. Wear is awesome too, I have over 60k miles on a pair and they are still kicking.

Not impressed with my ATm's in our wet coastal snow , my Hankook MT's were better

Hmm, work great in CO, but clearly different climates/snow. Did you sipe the MTs? I will be throwing the RF10s back on for the winter but would like to check them out in the snow for feel before the swap just for shits and giggles.

    No siping

Our wet snow tends to pack the ATm tread pattern and they don't clear themselves very well where my MT 's would clear very easily

I'll never own another Yokohama tire ever. My uncle has been running Hankook tires on his 3 big rigs and trailers and has nothing but praise for them.

Hankook makes a lot of different tires , they don't all perform the same

So does Yokohama and the 3 different versions I have had all sucked. Wife was responsible for 2 of them, me just for one.

I'll take my uncles word on the Hankooks and when my dually needs a set of tires it will be Hankooks.
