These are definitely my next tires. Been eyeing the G003 for months now and they are not much heavier than my current KO2 E load

Deciding between 285/70/17 vs 285/17/17 but honestly probably going for the 34. 34s would make each tire 6 pounds heavier so not too bad going from an AT to MT and sizing up

Im still trying to decide between 285/75/17 and 295/70/17. The tread depth on the 295's is bigger, and its a little wider but slightly smaller. also only a couple lbs heavier..

I see you you're running 285/17/70s now, i'd be curious how much more cutting/trimming you'd need to do to move up to 295

Either way I think I would have to do slightly more trimming I think. I'm good on the Cab mount but probably the lower part of the fenders. Here's the specs on all 3 FYI

Thats awesome breakdown nice! I didn't realize the 295 gives you a solid inch of width -- thick lol
They dont let you test fit a tire at Discount tire do they? haha would make my life a lot easier

Haha I wish! Id, be in there test fitting all the time

Yeah, I find it odd that 285/75/17 is not as wide as 285/70/17, but it may be because of the rim size that they used? Maybe someone else with more knowledge can chime in on that

Looking at getting these for my next set of tires going into an MT from ridge grapplers... 285/70/17... everyone love them still? lol excited to go from 265 to 285
was either these or toyo MT and the price and weight on these are appealing

Just got mine installed yesterday. 265/75/16. Friends all like the aggressive looks. Truck is my daily and waiting on the Eibach lift kit. Pic is from the tire shop.

Looks great Tmaloy. I've been running a set of them for a couple of years with solid results.

So far these are running smooth, very little hum, and wet traction on road is better than my stock Toyo A30s. Hitting a few bumps on the way feels very soft too. Even my buddy took a ride with me and said it rides smooth and soft and was surprised it didn't feel like a regular MT tire.

Yeah I’m torn on ridge grapplers or the g003. The yokos are actually 2 lb lighter than the grapplers and much cheaper so I think that’s my deciding factor.

hows the tires been so far? I know it’s only been a day lol

These are my first MTs and they are a lot less gutless then I thought have some hum on the road but so did my ridge grapplers and I know with more miles it will get worse but with radio on you can barely hear it and yeah weight for an MT and price and good reviews on them I had to try em out. A little floaty on highway but I gotta adjust air pressure a bit

Yeah absolutely makes sense - what PSI are you running them at right now?

I see your in Arizona so probably not a ton of rain. I'mm out in Western Washington so i'd be curious to hear someone's review of the Rain traction on these

Not sure what they set them at maybe I think 36 psi. I gotta check. From earlier reviews on the thread I think they performed well in rain. Not sure tho. Good luck!

I just picked these tires up a few weeks ago and can agree with the highway floatiness. In the light rain we've had recently I haven't noticed a difference in performance between these and my previous Wildpeak AT3Ws. I took a trail up to Cedar Lake the other day and these performed beautifully in the sloshy conditions. We went through some thick/deep mud without any issue too.
