Ive only had mine for a little bit, but overall it seems pretty good. The mounting is a little crappy, but its been holding well.

The mounts just feel cheap. Its a thin aluminum part that goes in the track, then the plastic latch on a threaded rod, the plastic feels like it would be pretty brittle. The threaded part is maxed out and its really tight getting them on there.

Oh yeah, its a shitty cover, but for so cheap I was not expecting it to be great. Its actually better than I was expecting. The top and frame are fantastic, its just the clips.

I’m curious how the top of the cover attaches to the bed……the front of the cover, under the back window, because there’s no rail, and seems to not have clips
oR is it just 4 bed clips attached to the rails and then some foam on the top to make the seal?

It clips there the same way it clips in the back. There is nothing on the header rails that hold these down.

Ok, so the enclosed foam is to put on the head rails to make a seal,
The wind on the freeway doesn’t lift the front of the cover?

I didnt use any of the foam it came with, I think it is for other models that this cover fits, but there is a rubber seal around the whole cover that seals to the bed. Install took about 5 minutes. Slide in the rail clips, tighten set screws, put on cover and secure latches.

    one last question
So it’s closed with tailgate up…..no lock on cover
And have to unlock and lower tailgate to open

Yep, so when its closed, you need to open the tailgate to open it up. Its a soft cover though, so if someone wants in they can just cut a hole and unlock it.
