RTIC all the way. I used one over the last few months in my work truck while out on some fires and they kept the ice just as long as my personal pelican cooler. If money is not an issue then I would go with engel, no personal experience with them but I've heard nothing but great things about them and they look like a well built cooler.

Although not mentioned here, I personally have a Pelican and am happy with every aspect of it. The only thing I would do different is get the 65qt with the wheel. The 65qt I currently have doesn't have the wheels and is difficult to move around by myself.

I have three RTICs, a hard 65, hard 45, and a soft 30. Love them all. Why waste the money on the others that are 2 or 3 times as expensive and work exactly the same.

I got the monoprice one for $150. A 20lb bag lasted for about 5 days. Pretty solid product for way less.

Look into bison coolers. Made in America, great coolers, great customer service. Took my hard cooler on a 10 day road trip and only had to add ice once.

FYI - YETI Tundra 45 or Tundra 65 will both fit under a tonneau cover. I love my 65

My RTIC 65 fit easily under my ARE tonneau hard cover. I suspect, that even one of their large 110 qt ones may fit also, but I don't have one to confirm.

I bought all of my RTIC coolers when they were on sale last year. Paid $139 for my 65 and $119 for my 45 and $101 for my soft 30. I also bought the 45 and 65 when before their lawsuit with Yeti and they have the original "pre-ban" design, which I think looks a little better.

Here's a picture of our eclipse camp from August with my RTIC 65 in the back of my Tacoma.

Have yetis (work) and rtic (personal). Having Yeti vs. RTIC is a look at what I have and you don't. RTIC has my vote and cash...

I have Yeti's because I get a great deal on them. If that wasn't the case, I would go Rtic all day. Same cooler.

Shoots, even the YETI discount isn't great. Don't remember the numbers but RTIC was still less after discount if I recall LOL

If you read their specs, they have slightly different internal and external dimensions.

I'm 99% sure they are both built in the same Chinese factory, or at least from the same plans in a Chinese factory. But they have slightly different dimensions and external features. They are built in the same way and from the same roto-molding processes however and probably with the same materials.

I have a Yeti 75 and Pelican 30. I think the pelican is built tougher and I prefer the latches on it compared to the rubber straps on the Yeti
