    Any of you ladies and gents have a Yakima Roof Rack on your truck? I just bought some Baseline Towers on the same yesterday on Fleabay. Wondering what size bars to get 50 or 60 inch bars. Anybody have pics of how much the 50 or 60 bars look on the truck as far as overhang?

    I believe I have the 60” as they almost stick out flush with the side of the truck. 4’ or 50” isn’t wide enough to put 2 things on IMO. I’m running a load warrior centered up and have enough room to shift it and put say a bike rack or kayak rack on too. This is the best photo I have on my phone to show stick out408F2CCC-703E-45AC-A66C-E321BC850401.jpg

    These are 65" Yak bars. Took side pic right down sideline of Truck. Hope they help. Caution, if you are tall or have running boards, bars sticking out can be a pain, literally. Fortunately, I have neither boards or height!

    I have 58 inch bars.
    You can always get longer bars and cut them to the size you want. Get extra end caps, you may need them.

    Thanks gents I have no running boards, and I'm 5'11" so maybe the 60 inch will do the trick.

    I considered cutting mine to shorten, but decided not to, as I can fit a bike on either side outside the mounting brackets, and put kayaks inside brackets. Longer bars allow me more options. And i'm 5'8", so ....

    I went with these 76" yakima bars, I went extra wide but still kept it within the width of side view mirror to side view mirror, which I measure at just about 86" wide
    I figured this would give me the most room to work with up there as well as allow me if I wanted later on to trim them down...
    The fact that they had a lower buy it know on eBay also helped with the selection.

    I had a yak rack on my double cab but hated the wind noise caused by the “clip” messing with the door frame rubber.
    Are you guys getting bad noise? What clips are you guys using with the towers?

    @PlatinumCloud
    @Clarionguy

    Thx
