I've searched and couldn't really find anything.

Has anyone installed yakima or Thule racks in the factory ditch holes? I have a 2nd gen that uses the hooks in the door jams. I may be getting a 3rd gen and wanted to move away from using the stupid hooks.

I want the 2 bar style, keeping it simple. Anyone? I do not like the look of OEM roof racks.

    Thank you!

Shiet, I should also add, I am super super super hesitant to drill. I just can't do it on a new truck...

Go to https://infolookup.yakima.com and type in your vehicle.
Choose the Naked Roof fixed point Skyline. That will up a list of parts needed to mount a "Landing Pad" to the existing roof rack taps and towers that will fit.

That looks like a good option for the OP. They screw into the OEM roof rack mounting points.

I installed the Rhino Rack RTS tracks on my 3rd Gen Tacoma. It did require drilling, but I've had them on since the truck was new in 2016 with no issues. I like that I'm able to mount my Yakima racks, and I have the option to mount other rack types if I choose.

The tracks riveted into the channel on the roof.

Does Prinsu have some way to attach common Yakima mounts such as surf, bike, canoe? If so, I'm interested.

I would totally go for that if the rails would completely fill the channel. I'm planning to keep my vehicle for... ever... and pass it down to the next gen.

@flash5twelve , What landing pads did you use for the Yakima towers? 1 or 4?
