    Hello Tacomaworld!

I have designed and 3D printed custom coat hanger hooks that keep your cloths/suits from falling off those tiny OEM coat hanger hooks.

These are made from a heat and UV light resistant ASA plastic. This is a material similar to ABS plastic which is used throughout the automotive industry.

    Looking for a custom color?

There are several other colors available from the vendor I purchase filament from. A minimum order of 4 pairs is required to justify ordering a color other than black or grey. Please send me a PM and I will update the add as requests come in.

    Want a custom shape?

I am a full time Mechatronic Engineer with 10 years of CAD experience. If there is a lot of interest in a particular design I will print them in batches. For more intricate designs or custom one off designs (not limited to coat hanger hooks) please inquire via a PM.

Post a quick sketch picture in this thread of a custom hanger hook you would like. If there is enough interest in it I will draw it in SolidWorks, print it out and offer it for sale!

NOTE: There are subtle but visible layer lines on these hooks. This is a byproduct of 3D printing as the part is printed 1 layer on top of the previous. To keep the cost low I do not sand these smooth. If you desire a super smooth finish these are easily wet sanded and/or painted.

I am very passionate about engineering, 3D printing, and wheelin in my Tacoma so being able to combine them all is awesome! I can't wait to hear what y'all want to have made!

Great idea! Any ability to make one pair with the hook almost coming in contact with the headliner?

Yep, that is an easy adjustment. Just let me know how much space you would like between the headliner and hook tip

Received mine yesterday and they look great.

Thanks for the quick turn around.

Once I get the other parts in and time to install/set up, I'll post pics of the parts and install.

I had been wanting to mount a rear dash cam from the hooks and this was the perfect opportunity.

I contacted Ryan with my idea and he made it happen. 20210707_161645.jpg

A hole and flat surface was placed below the hook.
    20210707_163348.jpg

I purchased the brass nut inserts and ram ball items separately online.
    20210707_163622.jpg

Then I heat pressed the inserts into the hole and installed.
