My driveway is fairly steep and working on my truck can be a challenge, I much prefer to work in my driveway than the street. I’ve thought about blocks or metal ramps, anyone else deal with this as well? Ideas or solutions?

Do not, despite your preference. Garages are flat enough for my liking.

If you do, post someone at the bottom of the driveway to alert drivers when it starts to escape.

I do have one side of my garage I can use but it can be tight in there. I never had a driveway this steep before it’s really kind of a drag

I understand, but one reason I am moving from my apartment to a rented house is for a 2-car garage. Either move to space that serves better, or adapt to the space you have ... always is the dilemma we face.

Just dangerous, work on a flat location, like maybe your garage. Good luck with your truck.

How are YOU going to take it when she says "staying"? A few nights sleeping in the street gutter will fix your attitude.

It looks like my driveways grade. I’ve had to move a vehicle to the street on more than one occasion to do work on it. If I only have to lift one rear wheel I’ll set the parking brake and raise one wheel up. I need to do something that requires both rear wheels up. I was thinking about doing in the street, but I asked my brother and we’re going to do the work in his garage. It’s bigger and it’s also heated.

I replaced a broken OTR here and I'm still alive to talk about it. Chock the wheels and don't have all 4 off the ground at once. lol

but notice all the rigging to keep the vehicle at the precarious angle..

i would suggest considering flatter area alternatives. that might mean a back yard, or garage.

That's Divorce Rock on the Dusy. As usual pictures don't even come close to showing how steep it really is. Winch line is just barely tensioned to keep the front passenger wheel from lifting further. Tow strap is just a back-up in case it wanted to slide. It's steep enough that the front wheel lift means I didn't need a jack to change the OTR. lol
