I ran across a Tacoma with wood grain interior pieces just like how the 4Runners come, and to my understanding is that was never an option for the tacomas.

Has anyone else ever come across this before?

I asked the owner if he did it or how it was done, and he said it was stock so…
To me, it almost looks to be a stick on kit of some sort, but the fitment is impressive if so.

ive always wanted to have this in my truck, always liked the look, the 1st gen tundras have it also and it looks good to my with the tan interior

That shit is the most fragile plastic ever put in a vehicle. I would not want it anywhere near me.

I agree though, those look like stickers for the most part.

def AM but could of been a 'dealer add on' when truck 1st bought at dealership
one of those "non-negotiable" costs nowadays.........meh
    like window tint/etched glass/wheel locks/nitrogen in tires/etc

my son and i were at car dealer
there was a base model toy rav4 used on lot
dealer wanted $450 for wheel locks! (listed on window sticker price)
wheel locks were on 15 inch rusty steel rims
even my 13yr old was crushing the dealership for their ridiculous behavior

My 2000 ExtraCab PreRunner came with some of this when I purchased it in 2012. It is very difficult to remove, but I did not like it. Use a hair dryer or a heat gun (carefully) to loosen the adhesive to help remove it. Labor intensive for sure. I recall seeing add-on kits somewhere. ebay? CarParts.com?
