My wix was identical also, aside from being just a hair shorter once the fuzzy dust catcher was torn off

Buying several OEM's from the dealer, weather or not it has teh fuzzy sheet seems to be completely random.

The Wix I put in last year had it and seemed to filter a bit as it was kinda dirty itself. The OEM I ordered from the dealer didn't have it though. Kinda wish it did as it made it easy for me to see what side of the filter was getting dirty and I was able to change the orientation to expose the cleaner side to the inlet.

Slightly related-I just changed my filter with an OEM from the dealer. Replacement was shorter than the factory installed unit but fit ok otherwise.

I’d just run the paper oem filter from the dealership.
