After driving a 1GR with 33.5's, I really don't want to imagine how much it would suck putting 37's on a 2GR-FKS. :turtleride:

    Thanks.

    Thank you.

There is a possibility of a big spend - my considering a tent/wedge topper but I'm not rushing on that one. Our region is not close to builders but I know Topo ships theirs. In 2025 I'll be near some of the tent topper makers far west of WI to possibly pick one up.

I'm sure things will still add up. The Fast-Top soft tonneau/topper seems perfect for why I just got a pickup truck again. Roof or rack carry is in mind for our canoes. Nerf bars with step on spots are a strong possibility.

The pickup has gone from 7 to 210 mi on the odometer and is growing on us.

    :)

    I prefer FREE.
Picked this nice addition to the patio up for nothing but a little TLC and some new rock.

Oh, as a tech I tend to smack anyone who runs bigger than 33s on a 2GR

I thought you were regeared. :notsure:

    I still think a 1GR on 35's would be better than a 2GR on 37's. Edit: or a 2GR on 35's, really.

    1GR on 35s drives a lot like a 2GR auto on 33s.

Pretty good in the low gears. 1GR will not like super high revs at highway, but it'll walk the low speed starts.

2GR will be anemic until 30 ish, then it'll reluctantly sail lol.

Now a 2GR MT on 33s with armor and such.... Now that's a beast :D

Just because desert dwellers don’t order 4WD’s and they don’t rust away in 10 years like they do here :)

They are $500 all day here for a pair. Throw gears/lockers in, weld on steering/truss, and then you’re good to go for less than $2k. No brainer for a ballin on a budget second gen build.

On the other hand, looks like you've eliminated any issues with tire-to-fender clearance.
