    Well maybe I just bottomed out in the ruts left by previous people? I might try going down there again on my way back south so I can get some pictures of where I got hung up

    Stop over to the SAS thread;
    SAS w/ 5.29's, 40's should work just fine with the 4.0,
    just ask @Snowy

    and you ARE a welder!

    @pearing is a plenty good enough fabricator to SAS that truck. SD axles are CHEAP too, zero reason to mess around with IFS on anything bigger than 35’s IMO. 5.29’s and 40’s go down the highway great with a 4.0.

    Thompson rock trail head near big bay MI. There's toilets and picnic tables!

    Oh nice, yeah if your parking lot has toilets you've got it made. Near impossible to find last-minute camping up there this time of year, too damn nice and they are all about camping up dere dontchaknow. Beautiful area around those parts, enjoy!

    It wasn't an issue at Perch lake or high rock but the further east I go... Plus it's a pretty populated area for up here. I'd have gotten further if I hadn't stopped for waterfall pictures

    Your problem today is it's the weekend. During the week you'll have an easier time especially going east. Further you get away from Marquette the easier it will be.

    Waterfall pictures are a must. I may know another guy who is a bit of a waterfall junkie around here... :anonymous:

    Those SD axles aren't what I'd call cheap out in the west, I've been watching. By the time you buy used and build it up It's not a whole lot more to buy new pre-built units from ECGS or Fusion. Then you can get custom widths too.

    So. Many. Stickers.
    Stock Tacos can handle 37s (with trimming)

    They won't like it, but it can be done.

    There's a 1UZ swapped 3rd gen down here with stock running gear and 37s. Frankly it's hilarious
