I’m dealing with the CH4x4 version of this exact switch. Tried this wiring layout but no dice.

Every wire manages to illuminate a switch when connected to the battery.

I think there’s a big QA issue with these currently and would suggest everyone wait until it is resolved given the amount of issues I’m seeing when googling for answers

Not gonna make a video but ground is black

    1. blue = top switch illuminated only
    2. Red = top and bottom illuminated + yellow 12v
    3. Black = ground
    4. Yellow = top and bottom illuminated + red 12v
    5. Green = bottom only illuminated
Somewhere on the PCB traces red and yellow are crossing. Can’t quite tell where because the switches cover some of the traces.

If I'm reading this right, your problem might be there yellow wire. Connect the other four without it and see if the individual lights are working. See if the relays work. If thats good then your down to only one. The yellow should just get weird to your dash lights, not another power source. Its taking the power in only when your dash lights re coming on. Wiring it to another 12v is why the switch would light up all the time.

It ended up being a QA issue in the PCB. The yellow and red traces were touching and allowing power to jump across the circuits.

Ordered from a different company on Amazon instead of CH4x4 and now it works great.

Hello I have the same problem too.
The led light bar I have is Rough County Black series w/Amber DRLs 20” light bar. The RC switch has blue, white and red. I connected them to the cali raise led dual function switch.

    I did the following

    Rough Country Cali Raise Wires

    Blue to Red

    Red to Green

    White to Blue

I this helped me worked the Amber DRLs and the white leds independently. I am left with yellow. I asked Rough Country about the Black wire and they told me to leave it disconnected as the 3 wires are connected to the relay that lead to the led bar.

While I did attain function of the led bars, my letterings due not turn on when they are pressed. I connected Yellow and Red with the red wire from rough country and they still don’t turn on.

Should I connect the yellow wire from cali raise switch with a quick splice connector and connect it with the red closest to the black on my ditch lights? That way every-time I turn on the amber or white they’ll turn on when pressed?

Update: I did the quick splice connector yellow and the red wire on my cali raise ditch light switch. The results was that nothing changed.

Does someone know how to tap the yellow wire to the dash so that when the truck turns on the dual function switch turns on? I would greatly appreciate the help also!

I was trying to wire my ExtremeLed light bar into my Cali raised dual light switch today and following the diagram from Cali raised I was having an issue. When I had everything wired up the backlight on only the white button was lit up and when pressed the amber would come on. The Amber button was off and when pressed I got nothing. This definitely saved my butt. Thanks man!

Buddy, I cannot tell you how much this pic helped me. Nothing is colour matched, diagram from caliraised is wrong, been trouble shooting with a multi meter for 2 hours before seeing this… I thought no way that’s gonna work but I tried everything else so may as well and boom! Everything is functioning properly! Thank you! A little disappointed with caliraised right now for lack of info and the tail length they left me off my light bar ended right under the hinge of my hood… another 8” would have been nice. Anyways, thanks again!
