Anyone with an iPhone 14 have issues with the Qi charger not working? I've tried positioning the phone in all different locations on the pad, but it does not seem to work. And, yes, the wireless charger button is in the on position. It is a 14 Pro Max and I do not have a case on it.

the OE wireless charger doesn't like the newer iphones. It is believed the cameras hold it too far off the mat. it charges at a snail's pace and needs repositioning at times, so you are not missing anything.
I just got a vent mount, so I can use my maps handsfree, and of course charge too.

The charger is useless anyways. Way too slow and makes the phone hot.

That's kinda what I was thinking. I can definitely see that the new camera is not letting it sit perfectly flush. Luckily it's not really a big deal. Thanks for the input!

Dumped the Tacoma, that's all it needed.
I just plug mine in and stuff it in the center console and use CarPlay.

I have the same issue. The camera bump is too big on these phones so it can't get close enough to charge.
Just get a cable and use the usb in the middle console.

So even the OEM wireless charging pad makes the phone hot too, huh. I have and aftermarket one and it does the same, thought it was just because I was using aftermarket. Wonder why this is the case. I have wireless charging pads in the house and none of them make my phone hot.

As others have mentioned, Cameras make it too far. Apple carplay + physical cord. Use the Qi for charging airpods (only when you dont turn lol) or use it for glasses. Wish I could repurpose the charger for something else useful.

The QI charger hole is nothing more than a storage bin. It won't charge my iphone 13 pro max either. As mentioned above it's only good for Airpods any more.

I got mine to work by just removing the roll of film from my iphone camera, now it lays flat on the charger.

Yeah, it is part of the charging process. But the OE one is too slow to bother with.

I have it and never used it as my phone is not Qi compatible. I think this is an example of another sales pitch that came with the tech pack. just saying.

It is slow charging. I use it more to hold my wallet and keys these days.
