The Toyota parts catalog doesn't list a wiper blade refill for the left side on the 4th gen. The only part suitable is the entire wiper assembly. So instead of a $7 blade, the catalog suggests a $32 part.

This seemed dumb. The Tacoma, Tundra, Land Cruiser etc...are basically the same truck spiritually and I figured there's no way Toyota would invent a new wiper blade considering they use the same oil filter on a 2024 Tacoma they spec'd for a 1985 Tercel and hundreds of other models.

The passenger side is 20" and the driver side 24" on the 4g Tacoma. The Tundra uses 24" on both. So I ordered a Tundra blade and it fits just fine.

If you need wiper blade refills:

Drivers (left) wiper blade refill part 85213-0C010
Passenger (right) wiper blade refill part 85213-AK010

I didn't. I was ordering some accessories and shipping was free, plus 20% off the last sale. But I know I will need them eventually.

Is there something special with the blades? Can't you just measure the size and then go to Walmart and get the flavor of your choice?

I guess...but not if you want the exact fit OEM ones that refill the blade and not replace the entire blade / wiper piece. I've tried dozens of replacement blades over the years. Made this mistake on my Honda. Used the OEM refills and they were excellent. No chatter, great life and cleaning. But I got lazy, took off the OEM blades and started using random blades. Hasn't been the same since. I don't think you'll find a better blade for $7. The OEM ones have a rubber piece you slide out, slip in a new rubber piece.

My OEM blades are chattering now, might be because of the colder weather. I'm thinking on replacing them with Bosch blades. Bought the truck in April and have 8K on it now
