I did the DTRL OEM mod this weekend. Now my wiper blades will stay where ever they are on the windshield when I turn them off rather than dropping back down to the bottom of the windshield. Same with the wash spray setting. They stop in the middle of the windshield.

I'll take the dash apart again and re-seat all the wires, but what am I looking for specifically? Could there be something else causing it? Is there a "reset" of some sort I could do?

Should I take it do the dealer and feign ignorance?

The symptom you describe is called not returning to the "park" position... My wife turned hers on to "push off the snow" and now the intermittent wipers don't work... a week later they now fail to "park" when turned off.

I've heard 2 things can do this

    A) It is usually the fault of the module that is connected to the motor.
    B) The bushings are broke

I haven't taken it apart to see which one it is so I'm not sure how the Tacoma is setup.
