I bought an umbrella gizmo that doesnt fit my windshield so I’m here looking for the best fit whatchamacallit to keep the blazing sun out of my cab. I already have all windows (except the windshield) tinted to match factory. Any solid reviews from the gang?

I highly recommend ceramic window tint. It's not cheap but it keeps the heat out. I have 3M ceramic all around my truck even the windshield. 5% rear glass, 5% rear windows, 25% front windows, 75% windshield. I also use a sun reflector that I purchased from Amazon.

Helps a ton with both combined in the 105+- heat here in TX.

The local tint joint wants to keep my rig overnight to make sure the film bonds. Nope. Thanks for the link!

I just got this one a month ago and also recommend it. It's a nice, thick reflector with a soft side on the bottom. Not flimsy either.

I like what we have for our Highlander...its a two-piece unit that twists and folds up into a small circle and can slide in between the seat and the center console. Got it probably at Walmart.

Just a warning about the Covercraft, beside the expense. It is bulky folded up. You gotta really want to have it inside our cramped trucks. As another poster above suggested any collapsible ones that you twistfold can be stuffed in between things and are way cheaper. I got rid of my Covercraft.

Another vote for Covercraft, got one for my Avalon and Tacoma, fits perfect and has so far lasted many years. Threw out all those other POS's from the auto parts stores, you know the ones that never stay up and sag in the middle.

My Covercraft fits behind the rear seat when I have passengers, when riding solo I leave in on the rear seats and it's readily accessible.

I agree it is bulky but it has been the best sunshade I've owned. I've had it for about 4 years now.

I have a Covercraft shade in my Tacoma, works great and fits perfectly. I have a Weathertech shade in my wife's Escape and although it is very efficient in keeping the heat and UV light out the fit is not great and since it rolls up instead of folding it is a royal pain in the a$$ to handle. I would have to recommend the Covercraft. They also seem well constructed.
