Whenever I drive in the morning or at night, I can't keep my windshield from constantly fogging up. Playing with the a/c settings and defrost doesn't seem to help at all. Turning defrost on gets rid of the fog but leaves so much condensation that I still cant see without turning my wipers on, and as soon as I switch it back to panel, it fogs up again. Where I live in central GA its about 75-80 degrees in the morning. Anybody else have this problem?

Sometimes this happens to me not a lot. But I turn the air on to the windshield and have to blast cold a/c on it. Works for the few times it's happened

Here in SC on the coast it is the same way. Have to defrost with heat all the way up in the morning. During the night time I normally just keep it on low heat defrost until it goes.

I get a little bit in the bottom middle portion of my windshield in the mornings during the summer. Turning on the wipers gets rid of it. I find in the summer time, the defrost doesn't really do much since the condensation is on the outside.

The only time I use my defrost is if I park outside during the winter and I need to defrost the windshield while the truck is warming up. Otherwise, I just run the A/C all the time...winter or summer and it keeps the windows from fogging.

That shouldn't fog up that bad all the time. I wonder if you have a leak with water getting in somewhere. Possibly a clogged drain for the the a/c... Just throwing out guesses here. That does not seem normal.

It might be worth checking that your fresh air/recirc door moves. You can watch it moving right above the cab air filter if you push the button with the key on. Check you cab filter while you are there.

Otherwise, sounds fairly normal for cool, high humidity situations. A bit of heat with the defrost will keep the condensation off the outside of the glass.

Also, never use Recirc when the AC is not running.
Recirculating the cab air will just add more of your sweat and exhalation and fog up.

I live in coastal SC and have the fogging issue also. Crack the rear window and the drivers window. The fresh air coming into the rear will keep it cleared.

It's a good indication that your cabin air filter may be dirty as well. Clean it or replace it and see what happens. Worked for me.

I had a similar problem in an old Mazda 323. A mouse had made a nest in the duct work going to the windshield. Trapped the moisture, slowed airflow, ect. going to the windshield.

Did you get the hooker under the dash option? Sometimes she overheats and causes condensation on the windows.

Use of Armor all can fog the windows, something they don't ever tell you.
If you haven't used it in 6 months or so, it is likely something else.
I use the stuff rarely, because my windows always have a film on them if I use it.

Go to any scuba shop and look for defog. It is called "SPIT", Anti-fog, Seadrops etc. There are many brands. All are made SPECIFICALLY to defog scuba masks while diving and all work.

Each bottle is small but will be more than plenty to defog all of your windows. You do not need a lot of it either...

Goal is to apply it to glass and rub it in by swirling it. Surface will look slimey and disgusting. Let is sit and dry for about 10 minutes. Grab regular paper towels and start swirling lightly. In seconds you will see dried off swirls turn into clear film. Film will last you for about 3 months or so. Each bottle costs about 5 bucks.

I scuba dive so I have ample supply of defog anyways.
