35 is hard to see thru unless you are 6 inches from the vehicle.
To me different grades do not look right,

Just as rear tint and no front tint... is the same as dark rear and a lighter front tint ,,,,, both look odd as well.

Had my front matched with rear!!!
To me it's not dark enough..that's my opinion.

Going to have front/rear doors tinted at 15 % and have front strip on windshield tinted at 5% & THINKING about having back glass tinted at 5% also.
This should be dark enough for me!!

Only downside to this is no visiting Virginia..lol!!!!
The State Troopers will make you strip off all tint right there on the side of the road ,their so kind that they provide a scrapper for you!!!...I know this because it's happened to 3 friends of mine!

My tint shop put the meter on my rears and it read 25%. I went with 30% on the fronts which is slightly lighter but I like the way it turned out.
I had my fronts on my old F-150 tinted to match the rears which were 20% and it was a little too dark for me at night (I'm getting old and my eyes aren't as good for night driving anymore). Also 35% is the legal limit in my state so I am only slightly illegal

Anyway, here is a pic that shows the difference...slightly lighter in the front.

    Good luck.

    Oh look, another mod....

I have 5% on all windows. Back, rears, fronts. I live in Texas, our summers last for 6 months and we get a lot of 100+ degree days. So the tint is needed. In the winter months when it gets darker fast, the dark tint is a slight problem, but I roll down my window when backing out.

Cops have NEVER pulled me over because of the tint. My cop-neighbor told me "As long as you aren't driving like a dick, we don't care."

My local shop ripped off the factory tint when I bought it and put on ceramic 5% all the way around, for $300.

Speaking of tint, just curious, I bought my OR used and it has tint on side windows. The front almost as dark as the rear. Is there a way to tell if it is ceramic or not?

That is one nice looking truck. I love the Voodoo blue especially with the black accents and the dark tint.

One question. How did the shop "rip off" the factory tint if it's in the glass?

I think it really depends on the state you live in. NJ used to be sticklers. When there was a more comprehensive yearly car inspection (and lines for a mile) they would fail you for tinted windows if they saw it. Tint shops also technically weren't allowed to tint the front windows either.

You won't think it's so hilarious when you hit a pedestrian and their lawyer comes after you claiming your vision was obstructed because their accident investigation showed your window tint was illegal. One of the first things a personal injury attorney's investigator looks at.

I did the same, had front windows ripped off and did ceramic all the way around. Windshield at 50%, fronts 35%, rear doors and glass at 5%.

20% on sides and back makes a big difference here in FL.

Were I live it's training district for the federal police, so they ticket all visible offences, even mud flap tickets.

I hate getting pulled over and worrying about the tint ticket every time. We are a 0 on front law.

Ummm....why not? So, you're the rebellious one lol.... I bet with 5%, you can't see shit outside. I won't do 5% or even 20% because there's this thing called I like to see everything outside. Same with super smoked tail lights. I like to be seen at night at all times. That's gotta be a good reason.

I live in Canadian texas lol. Alberta.

We have the highest amount of rock chips and shattered sunroofs in the continent. We use lots of gravel in the winter rather than salt. So it spits like crazy if the trucks don't have mud flaps.

Mudflaps are standard up here on most models.

The big thing are the jacked up trucks with completely exposed tires, they throw the most.
