Is the window super loose? Can you lift it by hand a bit? Its possible the rollers broke and it's coming off track, but if it did that it would probably be all fucked up and rotating too. Or is it just not going down all the way Because the motor is petering out? Like, is it getting stuck? Or just stopping?

If it's getting stuck, and hard to push or pull, then it's probably off on the SIDE tracks. If it's just stopping, it's probly the motor. If it's loose and will pull up or down by hand, it's probably the regulator which has the rollers and horizontal scissor tracks.. Either way, you can get a whole new motor/regulator assembly on eBay for like $40. Easiest way to tell for sure is to take your door panel off and have a look as you roll it up or down. Take panel off and reattach the switch temporarily to roll it and have a look.

    Flow master,
    Thanks for the info.
I can tell it's not the motor because when I power it Up and down it does not struggle, but it seems whatever holds the window in place is not doing its job. I wondering if there's a pic. Or schematic of the track holding the window in place. Also window is not loose.

Not sure about a schematic, but here's a pic of the vertical side track, from a write-up I never got around to posting, heh. Hope this helps. If you want I can put together the write-up and post it up. Might help you get it fixed. Not too hard to do if it is just off track. The window door panel will come off, and the window will need to be unbolted (should be two bolts) from the regulator. Pulled up and out most likely, then wedged back in the tracks properly.

sounds like it came loose from the retension clip or the clip broke.

there is a clip that is epoxy glued to the glass at the bottom to hold it and that holds it to the scissor mechanism.

see what it looks like here:

I have manual windows on my 05 base access 5spd. The driver side was weird a while back, would flop down about a inch after rolling it down a couple cranks. Then more recently it got crooked and I'd have to push it to the rear side as I cranked it up just to get it to close nicely. Today I took the door panel off *easy peazy wow I was surprised. When I got in there I found two 10mm bolts had completely come out lol. One fell on the floor as I pulled the clear plastic dust cover out of the way, the other was inside the door laying there. I rolled the window down all the way and sure enough two spots to bolt them into the crank mechanism lined up with two bolt holes in the door skeleton. Bolted them in tightly and boom perfect again. I went ahead and cleaned out both side tracks, first with armor all cleaning wipes, then with water / blue shop towels.
When I put the door panel back on, the black piece that pops into place on where the mirror is, it was loose. I took two of the white squeeze tabs out, and placed them onto the black piece then pushed it all together. Had to super glue one of the black tabs that I put the white squeeze snap part on since it was cracked and loose. It's all tight and perfect now, window cranks perfect, smoothly and aligned perfect.
Very happy with the results. Thanks for the thread guys!
