So I had an issue a couple months ago with the passenger window on my 2010 Tacoma (X-Runner, but probably not relevant) in that it wasn't tracking properly anymore. I seated the window closed and left it as is until I had time to open the door. Most likely causes found online were the screws coming loose from the regulator or the adhesive coming loose. Somehow I wound up splitting the window channel clip down the center. Trying to epoxy it back together didn't work out too well, either from the plastic not caring for the epoxy, or the epoxy not curing completely.

After spending a ridiculous amount of time just finding out what they were called, as none of the Toyota parts sites seem to list them. The parts sites just never referred to it, as if it was only replaced with the window glass. The only marking on it was '2103N-1', which isn't coming up in searches either.

Are the parts on eBay the best option available? If so, it seems the adhesive should be somewhat flexible, what would be the best adhesive to use?

If repairing the clip is required, is there a better suited epoxy than the 5 minute set permatex stuff, or should I have just done the work when I had time to let it sit and cure overnight? (it's working well for one of the speaker screws that had an issue, but the channel clip could have been pushing its limits)

Digging this up from the dead because one of my clips busted, went to the dealer just to order a new clip, only to find out its attached to the glass somehow. Haven't dug in enough to see exactly how, broke at 11pm or so right as it was starting to rain, so I just popped the door panel off quick to set it back on it's track to roll it up.

Permatex Plastic Weld is my plan. JB Plastic weld might as well be hot glue by comparison.

Since this is the only post I could find on the subject. Does anyone have any other ideas / insights? Was supposed to tackle that project today. Ironically... pouring rain now.
