Alright guys, I'm in need of some help. I need to replace each window belt on my 2nd gen Taco.
I have the parts but I'm in desperate need of instructions so I was hoping that one of you fine people had done this before and could help me out.
    Thanks!

The piece in question is the stripping that comes in contact with the window at the bottom.

Headlights/fog lights. Straight pipe exhaust? Hopefully more mods to come
Did you ever figure this out? I’m trying to do the same thing but I’m not sure if I want to paint them or replace them. For all 4 doors it’s a bit expensive to get new ones. So I’ll prob paint them. I just hope they match well

My new trim pieces should be arriving later this week. $28/ea from some online Toyota dealer. I'll have to watch some youtube videos and update this thread once completed.

I have already gotten mine off. The easiest way, for me at least, was to roll the window down, remove the door panel, then from the outside, grab ahold of the trim and roll/pull it toward me and lift. And it came out. Do you have a link where you got your trim at??

I think you can do it by leaving the door panel on but it would make it a little more difficult. You also can do it without removing the mirror.
I took everything apart so I could clean/wax the painted surfaces before assembly.

Just replaced all four mouldings on the truck. It was way easier than I thought. Took me about 35 minutes after realizing I didn’t have to take off the door panels
