Will the Badlands Apex 12,000 lbs Winch fit in the Body Armor HiLine Bumper?

The spec says it holds a 10,000 lbs winch with 1/4" winch mount. If the Apex fits, will the 1/4" winch mount be strong enough to hold it?

The Apex 12K winch fits and the BA Hiline winch mount plate is strong enough to hold it. The frame horns are the weak point for the whole assembly however. BAMF brackets reinforce the frame horn mounts. I installed those as well when I added the Bumper and winch to my truck



You do have to cut off and drill out the OEM frame horn bolts and install longer bolts so you have enough thread to install the BAMF frame reinforcement brackets though

I can attest to my 12,000 lb. Lb. Winch from harbor freight fit in my highline bumper. I'm a second gen 2015. About a month ago I was stuck in South America in the stream bed. Part of the extraction process was hooking to a tree I'm one of the 10-ft high Banks. It lifted the whole front of the truck up. It was pretty cool.
